SESSIONAL POSITIONS TO BE ADVERTISED
Any unfilled summer faculty positions, as well as openings for our fall and winter semesters, are scheduled to be posted next week on the HR website. If you know someone who would be a great fit for one of the positions posted, please spread the word!

GRAD BANQUET TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE
If you have not yet purchased your ticket to the graduation banquet, they are still available for a limited time in the administrative office (MH402). The banquet will take place at Rodd Royalty Inn on May 9th. Doors open at 6:00pm, and the meal will be served at 6:30pm. Tickets for non-Ed-Society members are $35.

JERG CALL FOR 2014 SCHOOL-BASED EDUCATION RESEARCH PROPOSALS
Proposals for collaborative, school-based education research are invited from teams that may include any PEI teacher or group of teachers working with a UPEI faculty member(s), potentially with a pre-service teacher and graduate student. Details can be found in the attached document. The deadline for proposals is 31-March-2014.

KILLAM RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS
The Canada Council for the Arts is now accepting new applications through their website. The 2015 Competition deadline is 15-May-2014. Please check the eligibility criteria before applying.
In order to submit an application you must acquire a user name and password from the Killam Program staff at Killam@canadacouncil.ca. You must do this even if you have applied previously.
Note: Applications require institutional review and approval. Interested applicants must coordinate with the Chair/Dean’s office and Research Services during the preparation of an application.

INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCE, COMMERCE AND HUMANITIES
International journal of science, commerce and humanities (IJSCH) is an open access, peer-reviewed and refereed multidisciplinary journal published by post academic publications. Submission deadline for the April 15th publication is 08-Apr-2014. Information can be obtained on their website.
CANADA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION (CICE-2014)
The CICE is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practices in education. The CICE-2014, which will be held this June in Capbe Breton, invites research papers that encompass conceptual analysis, design implementation and performance evaluation. Submission deadline is 05-Apr-2014. Details can be found on their website.

CSSE SEEKING EDITOR/CO-EDITORS
The Canadian Society for the Study of Education (CSSE) is seeking an Editor or Co-Editors for the English language content of the Canadian Journal of Education. The Editor or Co-Editor will serve a three-year term beginning 01-July-2014. Please see the attached posting for details. Deadline for application is 17-Apr-2014.
