ED473 WEBCAST!

Bonnie Stewart’s ED473 Communications class will be doing a live webcast with Scotland’s RadioEdutalk on Thursday at 3:45pm. This is a capstone project for the class, utilizing the presentation and listening skills learned. The 38 students will each have one of four roles: audio presentation, audio discussion, chat discussion, or live tweeting. They’ll be reflecting on building networked communications skills and personal learning networks.

ED473 would love your support and participation (from the comfort of your desk). You can listen here between 3:45 and about 4:30: just click. http://edutalk.cc/listen/  You can also provide great support by participating with a real-time question or comment if you wish.  To do this::

1. Tweet using the Twitter hashtags #ed473webcast and/or #EDUtalk or
2. Send a question via this Titanpad link (chat is on the right-hand side), it’s public: http://titanpad.com/TMIwIu0751

The RadioEdutalk host’s blog about the show is here: http://johnjohnston.info/blog/?e=2440. All questions or comments about networked communications are welcome. The show will be archived by Radio Edutalk afterwards so students will be able to showcase it in their portfolios if they wish. It’s real-life service to the educational community, and a great way  for students to build connections!

Please support our students in this project by participating if you can!
