The Faculty of Education held their Holiday Celebration on 11-Dec-2014 at Confederation Centre of the Arts. It was a fun filled evening with good food, good company, ugly sweaters, and a holiday trivia hosted by the effervescent Megan MacKenzie!
Our Dean, Ron MacDonald, opened the evening with a Faculty “night before Christmas” poem and some tributes.
Tributes included the “Shower-Upper, Pitcher-Inner” (Jane), the “Least Concise Writer, but Fast Learner” (Liz), and “Hat Juggler Extrodinaire” (Carolyn). Office staff also got crowns. I think it means we got promoted.
Competition for the ugliest sweater was fierce!
Megan did a wonderful job hosting trivia for us. The questions were challenging and fun, and covered a wide range of holiday topics, including movies, television, music, holidays, and literature. We truly appreciate all of the time and effort she put into making the celebration such a success.
