CANDIDATE PRESENTATION – SOCIAL STUDIES & INDIGENOUS EDUCATION

John Doran, candidate for the tenure track position in Social Studies and Indigenous Education at the Faculty of Education, will make a public presentation that focuses on “Social Studies and Indigenous Education in Times of Truth and Reconciliation” on Tuesday, 28-June-2016 from 9:00am to 10:00am in Kelley 210.  (NOTE: This is a room change from what had been originally published in Campus Events)

There will also be a Meet & Greet in the Education Student Lounge (Memorial 306) from 3:15pm-4:00pm. All are welcome to attend.

CAMPUS RETIREMENT CELEBRATION FOR MARTHA GABRIEL

Please join us on Tuesday, June 28 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, in the Faculty Lounge of SDU Main Building, as the University community celebrates the retirement of our friend and colleague Dr. Martha Gabriel, Professor Emerita. After many years with UPEI, Martha will officially retire on June 30. Cake and light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there to wish Martha all the best in her retirement.
