- The PEI Tobacco Reduction Alliance is conducting a focus group session for young adults who use tobacco on campus Friday, 22-Jan-2016. The purpose is to gain insight and opinions around how to promote online and electronic cessation resources to young adults. Please see the attached poster for how to be involved.
- The UPEI Healthy Activity Challenge starts again soon! The Challenge is an opportunity for you and a group of co-workers to participate in a fun eight week physical activity. It’s simple, just record the number of minutes you are active daily. Teams of 6 record their activity from 18-Jan-2016 to 13-Mar-2016. Registration Deadline: 14-Jan-2016. The registration form is attached.
- Glucose, Cholesterol and Blood Pressure Clinics will be held from 8:30am to 1:00pm at the Sports Centre Boardroom on 27-Jan-2016. To schedule your 10-minute appointment please contact Angela Marchbank at 902-566-0606 or contact her by email.
- Noontime Yoga will continue to be held every Tuesday from 12:10 pm – 12:55 pm at the UPEI Chaplaincy Centre. This program provides a full body strength and flexibility workout which tones the body. Long stretches will melt away stress and create a feeling of deep relaxation. Please bring your own mat and/or towel and water. Program is free and for UPEI students and employees only.
- go! PEI Let’s Walk! – The Athletics & Recreation Department is participating in the go! PEI Let’s Walk!, a free indoor walking club, program which runs until the end of March.
