MURDER MYSTERY DINNER PARTY – “CRUISING FOR MURDER”

There is nothing like a good mystery to beat the winter blues!  You are cordially invited to a Murder Mystery Party (“Cruising for Murder”) on Friday, 05-Feb-2016, at 6:00pm in Main Faculty Lounge.

Come to an interactive evening of murder, mystery, and intrigue! In February, when we’re all buried in snow and getting ready for Chinese New Year, what could be better than a “cruise?”

The setting for the evening is aboard a luxury cruise ship! Come to the party (in character) and receive an envelope with objectives. Mix and mingle with your fellow ‘passengers’ and talk to the people on your list, trying to discover hidden facts and information!

There are two ways to participate in this evening: As a MAIN CHARACTER (20 characters available) or as a REGULAR PASSENGER (unlimited!)

  • If you want to be a MAIN CHARACTER, you will be central to the plot… you may even be the murderer! You will have information that is essential to solving the case!
  • If you want to be a REGULAR PASSENGER, you will still have information to share and objectives to complete, but are definitely innocent of the crime!

This event is open to anyone – the more the merrier! Partners, kids, friends….. whoever! Email Ashley at acclark@upei.ca to RSVP (although extra characters will be available the night of if you spontaneously decide to come!) Indicate whether you’d like to be a main character or regular passenger, and you will receive your ‘character profile,’ which contains a description of you, some information about the evening, as well as COSTUME IDEAS!

Food will be provided, and this will be an unbelievable amount of fun. I hope to see you all there!
