FINAL 50/50 WINNER

The winner of the final 50/50 draw to support our specializing students was Mitchell MacKinnon, a first year pre-service teacher.  Mitchell has won $76.  The specializing students wish to thank all of those who supported them during the 50/50 draws this year.

Travel voucher tickets are on sale now.  Tickets will support our International & Indigenous Specializations, and are available from specialization students, or in the main office (Memorial 402).  Tickets are $20 and  only 600 will be sold.  Support our students with your purchase, and start planning where you might go if you win!

JERG CALL FOR 2014 SCHOOL-BASED EDUCATION RESEARCH PROPOSALS

Proposals for collaborative, school-based education research are invited from teams that may include any PEI teacher or group of teachers working with a UPEI faculty member, potentially with a pre-service teacher and graduate student.  Submission deadline is March 31, 2014.  Here are the proposal guidelines: JERG Call 2014.

THE PUBLIC CONFERENCE ON ENVISIONING RECIPROCAL LEARNING BETWEEN CANADA AND CHINA

The Public Conference on Envisioning Reciprocal Learning Between Canada and China takes place on April 7-8 2014, and is sponsored by SSHRC Partnership Grant and the University of Windsor (UWin), UWin Faculty of Education and in partnership with the Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB).  They invite you to share your experience and your papers with fellow academics, teachers and professionals.
