NEXT WEEK IS SHAPING UP TO BE BIG!

There is something big happening every day next week in the Faculty of Education!

MONDAY – 04-AUG-2014

The faculty is very excited to welcome Bonnie Stewart to the role of Coordinator of the CAE/BEd(HRD) Program!  Bonnie takes the reins on this program on Monday.  Drop by and welcome Bonnie to her new position!

TUESDAY – 05-AUG-2014

Another familiar face joins us on Tuesday!  We are also very excited that Liz Townsend will be taking on the role of Coordinator of Graduate Studies!  Stop in and welcome her to this role!

WEDNESDAY – 06-AUG-2014

Two candidates for the three-year term position in our BEd (français langue seconde) program will be giving presentations.  Please join us for a coffee break and the presentations as follows:

• 8:30 am – Presentation by Guy Albert (Memorial 417)
• 9:30 am – Coffee Break with Guy Albert (Education Student Lounge)
• 12:00 noon – Presentation by Zain Esseghaier (Memorial 417)
• 1:00 pm – Coffee Break with Zain Esseghaier (Education Student Lounge)

THURSDAY – 07-AUG-2014

We are welcoming new team members and celebrating mid-summer with a coffee break in the staff/faculty lounge (Memorial 409) at 10:30am.

FRIDAY – 08-AUG-2014

The first ever on-line Faculty Council meeting will take place at 10am on 08-Aug-2014.  Materials and log-in details will be forthcoming.

REPOINTING

Repointing of the brick on Memorial Hall has begun again and facilities is asking everyone to ensure windows of the building are closed before 4pm and over the weekends until this work is complete.

CALL FOR PAPERS – LONDON INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EDUCATION – NOVEMBER 2014

The London International Conference on Education (LICE) is an international refereed conference dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practices in education. The LICE promotes collaborative excellence between academicians and professionals from Education. The Conference will be held November 10-12 in London, UK.
