CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – HESSIAN MERIT AWARDS

The UPEI Hessian Merit Awards for Excellence in Teaching AND Hessian Merit Award for Excellence in Teaching by a Sessional Instructor honours instructors for outstanding performance in teaching.  These teaching awards publicly acknowledge individuals whos work has contributed to instructional excellence at UPEI.

The UPEIFA’s Hessian Merit Award for Excellence in Teaching Committee is currently calling for nominations for these awards.  The deadline for nominations  is noon, Wednesday, February 26, 2014.  Information about the awards and nomination forms are available at the Faculty Association Office (Main Building, Room 315).

COURSE OUTLINES ARE DUE

Just a reminder that if you have not already forwarded an electronic copy of your winter course outline(s) to the main office, please do so at your earliest convenience so that they may forwarded to the library and the office records will be complete.  You can send them to Karen-Anne or Cathy.

INTERNATIONAL DINNER

The Faculty of Education International & Indigenous Specializations’ International Dinner and Silent Auction will be held this year on 22-Feb-2014.   Emily Wells will be our chef again this year, and menu details will be available soon.  Be sure to pick up your ticket in the main office soon, as only 190 tickets are available to be sold.   You won’t want to miss it!
