VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED FOR SOUP FOR THE SOUL!

On 26-Sept-2018, the Faculty of Education will again be hosting “Soup for the Soul” at the Chaplaincy Centre on campus.  We  still require volunteers to serve as runners and dishwashers from 11am to 2pm.  Would you consider helping out?

THROWING DOWN THE GAUNTLET — HAVE YOU GOT YOUR POTATO(S) YET?

Earlier this week, Omeasoo Wāhpāsiw challenged our Education team to join her in the supporting the first every UPEI Co-op Potato Roll in support of the UPEI Campus Food Bank.

UPEI Co-operative Education students are selling potatoes for $2 each.  Your name is written on your potatoe(s) and on 05-Oct-2018 all of the potatoes are rolled down the hill. The potato that rolls the farthest wins half the money, with the Campus Food Bank receiving the other half.

Omeasoo has purchased 15 potatoes and challenges us to participate. Bragging rights, at the time of this posting, belong to our Dean. Ron has purchased 20 potatoes in response.

UPEI INTERNAL RESEARCH FUNDING PROGRAMS 2018-19

The Office of Research Services (ORS) has released its list of internal funding programs for 2018-2019. You can find the details here.

A lunch-and-learn information session regarding internal funding opportunities will be held on October 3rd from 12:00-1:00pm (location TBA).  Bring your lunch and light refreshments will be provided.  In order to assist with planning, please RSVP to researchservices@upei.ca.
