FAREWELL GATHERING FOR JILL

As many of you know, the super wonderful Jill Ross has left the Faculty of Education recently to take up a new teaching position with Holland College.  We would like to take the opportunity to wish her well and acknowledge her contributions to our Faculty at a gathering in The Wave immediately following the Faculty Council Meeting (09-Sept-2016, 1pm-3pm).  Please join us if you are able.

SYMPOSIUM TO HONOUR DR. FIONA WALTON

Last Friday (26-Aug-2016), the Faculty hosted a symposium to pay tribute the career of Dr. Fiona Walton and the fine work she has done to advance Aboriginal education in Canada.

The symposium featured presentations from key researchers and graduate students in the field of Aboriginal education.  Abstracts and contact information for the presentations are available here.
