In 2011, the MacLauchlan Family created a program of awards to encourage
and recognize student-writing achievement. Awards are valued at $500
each, with up to 60 granted each Fall, for work completed during the period
September 1 to August 31. We would like your help in encouraging
deserving students to apply. Exceptional Writing stickers are available from my
office. When you are marking assignments and come across exceptional
writing pieces, please encourage your student to apply by putting a
sticker on their assignment or informing them of this opportunity.
