INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION STUDENT ORIENTATION – 03-SEPT-2015

The Faculty of Education currently has 36 international students in the MEd and BEd programs, and 20 of them have just arrived in Charlottetown.  An orientation session for these students has been arranged on Thursday, 03-Sept-2015 at Health Sciences Building 104. Orientation will be followed by a pizza lunch for all MEd and BEd international students, faculty and staff. Drop by to meet and greet the international students during their welcome luncheon (12:15 pm – 1:15 pm) in the Health Sciences Building Lobby.

We are pleased to report that Dr. Jane Gichuru has come from Ontario to join our Faculty for a ten-month term position during Linyuan’s sabbatical.  Jane will be working out of Memorial 413.  Please welcome Jane to our Faculty!

EXCHANGE STUDENTS IN B.ED PROGRAM!

A warm welcome to three exchange students from Chile and one from Spain who will be joining our B.Ed classes in September for a semester. Cinzia Bizama, Juan Pablo Leyton, and Nicolas Lobo are with the Canada-Chile Scholarship Program (DFADT) and Teresa Vilas is from the Spain Scholarship Program. Please welcome them to your classes, and if you spy them in the hallways stop and say hello!
