WELCOME NEW STAFF
We are excited to announce four new staffing appointments in the Faculty of Education!
Carolyn Thorne joins the Faculty as Assistant Professor, (Differentiated Instruction and Inclusion). Carolyn brings extensive experience a teacher, consultant, counselor and coordinator in the K-12 school system. Carolyn’s office is located in Memorial 407.
Ashley Clark has begun working with many of our International Students as Academic Coach. Ashley will be meeting with and assisting students from her office in Memorial 302A.
Sherri Russell has begun working with us as part-time Project Manager on Nunavut Programs. In addition to working with our Faculty, Sherri will also continue her work with the Teaching and Learning Centre in Kelley Building.
Gabriela (Gaby) Sanchez also joins the Faculty as Graduate Research Assistant. Gaby will be working on organizing the PhD/MEd Thesis Seminar, and Graduate Education Journal Club, and a variety of projects related to the MEd and PhD programs.

UPDATED HANDBOOK FOR INSTRUCTORS
The Handbook for Instructors has recently been updated and contains important information for both full-time and sessional instructors on such things as printing, course expenses, departmental policies, and more. The handbook can be accessed by clicking the above link, or from the bulletin page in the menu bar above. ALL FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS are asked to please review the document.

The Faculty has two tickets to the Farmers Helping Farmers Annual Beef Barbeque to be held 08-Aug-2015 at Harrington Research Station, and we are making those tickets available to one lucky bulletin reader. For your chance to win, please email Karen-Anne by noon on 06-Aug-2015. A draw for the tickets will take place Thursday morning from those that submit their names.
