DECK THE HALLS!!!
The halls of Memorial Hall are looking really festive as faculty and staff are decorating for the holidays! It is wonderful to see so many getting in the spirit of the season. Take a wander around the halls and see what a great job people are doing!

DONATIONS TO THE UPEI STUDENT FOOD BANK
The holidays are a a joyous time for many families, but many also struggle financially this time of year. The Faculty of Education are accepting donations towards the UPEI Student Food Bank to help those in our community who may be struggling. A donation box for financial donations has been set up in Memorial Hall 402, and a box to collect non-perishable food items has been placed in the staff/faculty lounge (MH 409). We hope you will take the opportunity to share in whatever way you can.

IN CASE YOU CAN’T GET ENOUGH MILEAGE OUT OF YOUR UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER
So much ugly, so little opportunity to share the joy. Sure, there may be a holiday party or two where one can don their worst apparel… but are you looking for another opportunity to get more mileage out of your festive holiday sweater? Why not bring the ugly to campus! Friday, December 12th is National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day (It’s a real thing!).

SERVICE WITH A SMILE
On December 3rd & 4th faculty and staff of UPEI rolled up their sleeves and served chili at the Chaplaincy Centre to students as they got ready for exams. Education folks sharing their time at this fun and worthwhile event were Julie Gagnon, Ron MacDoanld, Megan MacKenzie, Karen-Anne O’Halloran, Selvi Roy, and Bonnie Stewart. It was a great way to kick off December.
